Pictures with Santa

Michael and Son hosted their first-ever “Pictures with Santa!” event on December 22 at the company’s Ruckersville location. Participants of “Pictures with Santa!” received a free photo with Santa Claus just in time for the Christmas holiday.

Attendees also brought in unwrapped toys as a donation to Toys for Tots, the Marine Corps non-profit organization dedicated to distributing toys to less fortunate families for Christmas. “We’re glad we were able to spread the Christmas spirit to families in the community” said Christopher Thompson, Director of Marketing at Michael and Son. “The donations to “Toys for Tots” was icing on the cake. One less family that has to worry about buying toys for their kids this year.”

The giving won’t stop there. Michael and Son will wrap up the holiday season with an installation project through their Helping Hands nonprofit organization. This project entails installing a top of the line generator in the home of a 1-year-old baby who has spent most of her days hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Children’s National Medical Center since she was 5 days old. Michael and Son intends for the generator to provide power to the baby’s and the child’s breathing equipment in the event that the house loses power.
