Why was the tournament name changed?
As many of your know, in September of 2016 Michael & Son Services lost a longtime friend and colleague, Joe Lomax Jr. Joe passed away from sudden cardiac arrest while on a job site, leaving behind a loving wife, five children and thirteen grandchildren. Michael & Son Services renamed the tournament in his honor and has pledged all proceeds to organizations dedicated to heart patient support and education. This year’s tournament sponsor is Mended Little Hearts.
